Bespoke Website Audits
In-Depth Technical SEO Audits, Straight To The Point
Website audits are often a sticking point for both website owners and SEO’s, whether as a team or as a freelancer because, without it a regimented process and strategy, it can be hard to provide and then action the tasks that will actually make a difference.
What I’m trying to politely convey is that, I’ve seen it happen over and over again when it comes to auditing, that both agencies and freelancers alike will deliver tens of thousands of words, graphs upon graphs, spreadsheets upon spreadsheets without actually solving much.
Then end result is that the purchaser of the audit is left scratching their head, wondering what to tell their developers to do in order to fix the issues that have been outlined.
My audits are a product of my experience dealing with the good, the bad and the downright bloody awful of audits, and I make sure that they get straight to the point.
Actionable Tasks, Simple Layout
I start my audits by running your website through several tools, along with manual checks to outline any immediate issues. This includes Screaming Frog, DeepCrawl, Ahrefs, SEMRush, and looking through your analytics profiles.
If I spot anything immediately, I’ll let you know. This is not about racking up the number of actionable items at the end of the document, I’m here to outline and recommend resolutions for issues that are affecting the SEO health of your website.
The audits I provide are written in plain english, and do not assume prior knowledge of SEO. I start by covering the ‘basics’ such as on-page SEO across your site, outlining at each stage why each tenant of SEO is important, then going on to display the issue in question, and recommending the most efficient resolution.
What I Need From You
In order to get started with an audit, I will need access to your Google Analytics and Search Console profiles.
Please be aware that, unless agreed otherwise, I do not fix the issues on your site, nor will I provide the ammendments necessary in supporting documents unless we agree otherwise.
My audits are a tool for identifying issues on your site, and upon delivery we can discuss high priority tasks, and if necessary I can quote for resolving individual issues.
For example, you may have 65 title tags that exceed recommended length. Based on how competitively I price my audits, I do not have the scope to then recommend updates to those 65 title tags, unless agreed beforehand. Instead, the audit will state the issue, outline why this is an issue, and recommend a general resolution which can then be further discussed.
Apologies if the above seems excessive, however I have to be sure that you understand what you are purchasing, especially considering how fairly my audits are priced.
Final points to note:
- Please make a backup of your website before the auditing process begins. I will not be making any changes to the back-end, however making a backup prior to the beginning of the auditing process will not do any harm
- As the audits take a good amount of time to complete, I ask that they are paid in full upfront
- I will be happy to jump on a call to discuss findings and next steps following completion of the audit
Sounds good? Brilliant! Please fill out the form below, and I will back in touch with a bespoke quote, based on the number of pages that your site has (this will relate heavily to how long the audit will take, and therefore the price).
