Whether you call it AI SEO, GEO, AIO or LLM SEO, there's no denying that SEO is changing, but the fundamentals stay the same.
My consultancy approach maps AI requirements to traditional SEO factors to ensure you're optimising for LLMS for the long-term, without missing out on aspects of SEO as we know it.
My approach is not just to optimise for LLMS based on what is working now with a short-term view.
SEO is evolving, and it’s an incredibly exciting time to start to review your existing approach to SEO.
This means that you’re not taking away from your current strategies, rather building on what is already working over the long-term, and adding to that with an LLM element which simply cannot be ignored.
For me, AI SEO is about mapping your current strategies and analysing for gap areas that apply to your organic growth more broadly, not just how many listicles you can get into or how optimised your llms.txt file is (and we can debate that too!).
This means that, your SEO strategy evolves outside of what can often be a mechanical approach. And, it’s often not through the fault of anyone intending to do this just to tick a few boxes.
For years, the playbook has been a blend of technical SEO, content and link building, with efforts focused on various pillars. And, these aspects are absolutely still important. But, your SEO strategy needs to now take LLMs and broader organic visibility into account.
Your website is just one aspect of that, so from a strategic standpoint, your SEO strategy needs to encompass AI and the opportunities that being visible in LLMs brings.
If you’re just wanting to buy a bunch of listicles and Reddit comments then I’m not the person for you.
I approach AI SEO based on strategies that have already worked for my website, with data aligned with what we can clearly see is working in LLMs with a long-term view, not short-term quick wins.
For example, aspects such as how heavily video is cited and being able to use existing content to inform video opportunities, auditing your website from a rendering and content accessibility perspective, optimising existing content and ensuring audience alignment, and keyword research in reference to broader organic visibility outside of your website (with your website as just one element of organic strategies).
Want to talk about how SEO is evolving and what that means for your current approaches? Maybe you’re just trying to see what role LLMs have in relation to your content, outreach and technical SEO strategies? Send me a message and I’d be happy to chat about what those opportunities could look like.

Take a look at this video breakdown of how an AI strategy would work, and even though it’s not strictly one approach for LLMs and one for traditional search results, it’s important to understand what LLMs are citing, and what that means for your broader SEO strategy in general.
It’s this level of crossover that you need to be aware of so that your current approaches don’t get left behind.
Here are some of the more common questions I get in relation to AI SEO in general. Don’t see your question here?
Send me a message and I’d be happy to chat further and answer the questions you may have.
For me, I don’t think it’s something that you need that runs entirely separately from your current SEO strategies.
It’s evolving, and it’s a part of organic visibility in general that cannot be overlooked. With the data we have to hand and the analysis approaches that actually make sense, now is the time to get in front of LLM visibility to understand where you currently sit, and what you need to do in a way that doesn’t detract from your current SEO work.
Essentially, the core SEO pillars still exist, you now have to take into account LLMs as another opportunity for organic growth.
This is the type of question that will get different answers depending on who you ask.
Some service providers will focus more on a productised approach, leaning into aspects such as third-party website citations only.
I focus more on a consultancy view, working with your team and assessing current capacity for LLM visibility gains over the long-term.
Essentially, I’m here to help you take your current approach to SEO out of a silo and bring it into wider marketing strategies, with LLM visibility being a large part of that.
For example, if you’ve got the capacity to create video content, then we can expand on traditional keyword research and existing content to map opportunities that align to both LLM and social media visibility in general.
This means still using data that would come from ‘typical’ SEO work, but all channels are now talking and you stand to benefit organically on multiple levels.
I currently assist clients with AI SEO strategies on a consultancy basis, bespoke to each client based on their own internal capacity too.
Over the long-term we may look to have a retainer which also includes traditional aspects of SEO too but, initially at least, all work starts with an audit and then we work exclusively from data findings. That way, all work is contextual, it’s not just a box ticking exercise.
Whether you’re new to SEO and simply want some guidance on where to take your strategy, or would like me to reevaluate your current organic strategy. I’d be more than happy to help.
